My alma maters are renowned institutes in the field of Medical sciences and education. I am a graduate (MBBS) of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad and I did my post-graduation (Diploma of Psychiatric Medicine, DPM) from Topiwala National Medical College and B Y L Nair Charitable hospital, Mumbai.

After completion of my specialization in the field of mental health, I pursued my inclination for deaddiction and gained valuable experience at the prestigious Bombay Drug Deaddiction center of Excellence, King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, Mumbai.

I worked as Medical Officer and later as Co-ordinator at the Drug Treatment Clinic. I have also undergone special training for Opioid Substitution Therapy with focus on Buprenorphine maintenance therapy and Methadone maintenance treatment. I have the experience of treating innumerous patients of all kinds of addictions.

I have also worked as Technical trainer for National Addiction Survey. I have undertaken numerous mental health and deaddiction awareness talks at various community levels ranging from schools, colleges to government offices. I intend to provide more comprehensive treatment services for deaddiction and sexual health and aim for a Drug Free Community.
